One day you will die. It is Mori's job to remind you of this. Remember, Mori is a "memento mori," which means a reminder of death. The purpose of a memento mori is to keep certain facts at the forefront of your mind: 1) You will not live forever. 2) Therefore, you should appreciate your life. 3) Because you will die, one day you will have to bid goodbye to all loved ones. Hence, it is essential to appreciate them and treat all people with kindness. 4) There is no sense in procrastinating what you believe you should be doing.
Every hour, Mori will provide you with a new reminder to help keep these four facts at the forefront of your mind.
Upon meeting Mori, he will create personal reminders tailored for you and assist you in developing your unique reminders that hold personal significance. Additionally, Mori presents his own reminders, composed of art, videos, and photos that he has collected.
This application aims to aid individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, aimlessness, or other challenges that one may face in life. However, it may not be suitable for everyone. If you have profound concerns about death, are experiencing serious illness yourself or within your family, or have recently suffered a loss, please do not feel obligated to use this app. You may choose to return to it at a later time when your emotional state has evolved or when you find the need for its assistance.
